The Art of H. E. Davey

H. E. Davey, through his many books and  his accolades at the International Japanese Calligraphy Exhibition in Tokyo, is recognized worldwide as one of the West's leading experts in Japanese art, in particular the ancient art of shodo, "the Way of Japanese calligraphy." Below are examples of his award winning shodo art, which has been featured in a variety of books, newspapers, magazine articles, and commercial applications in Japan and the USA. His artwork can be found in private collections in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Europe.
